I am so sad.............
Here’s what happened-
I stayed at school as usual yesterday,
and my home mom said she will pick me up at 5:15.
At 4:45,
Yi- Shan finish his club activities, and came to the library,
so I ask him to help me with some of my math questions.
And then we started to talk about my farewell party.
For some reason, my home mom told me only can invite 20 people to my party.
So I changed the list and took of ten more people.........
but I still have no idea that I should invite Tarn or not.
because Tarn did one thing made me feel that he is so mean,
but except for this thing,
he is actually a nice person,
In the end,
I didn’t invited him,
but I invited his friends ( including Yi- Shan).
Yi- Shan ask me why I don’t invited Tarn,
and I told him the reason why.............
I didn’t paid attention to the clock,
so when I looked at the time, it was already 5:17.
I thought I was late,
so I picked my bag and said goodbye to Yi- Shan,
Although I’m late I still walked slowly,
because I thought my host parents were always a little late.
Then I saw their car and I opened the door.
My home mom looked so angry,
even though she was smiling.
She said:
”Yu-Ga,
you know what time it is?
it’s 5:20 now,
you are almost late for about 5 minutes.
I know you have fun with your friends,
but we drive you to school every morning,
we pick you up after school every day,
we try to drive you to anywhere that you want to go, just hope you can have fun in American.
So watch your time!!”
At that time,
I felt crying,
I said I’m sorry to my home mom,
and then I was quiet.
Few minutes later,
my home mom said:
” Yu-Ga I’m sorry,
Corinne cried all day(Corinne is my smallest sister.)
I’m just tired.............”
I didn’t say anything,
because I was so scared.
When we got home,
I walked to my bedroom,
lay down on my bed and hugged the stuff animals,
and started crying.
It’s my fault that I didn’t paid attention to the clock...
and I thought I gave them lots of inconvenient things to do........
But I don’t know what to do,
because I want to see a lot of things,
like this Saturday I want to go to school to watch a speech contest,
but if I do that,
my home mom will need to drive me to school,
I’m thinking about it’s inconvenient for traffic.
Although now they said they can drive me up,
I’m still afraid of giving them so many things to do.....
~Message for Yu-Ga~
Yu-Ga, you are a very nice girl, and I think you learned your lesson. You need to learn how to limit how many things you go to. I know that you like going to see Scholar Bowl and Speech because E.E. and Jerry are in it. But you need to learn to be more considerate, which means that you need to think about how many people you will be forcing to help you get there. Other than that, there’s only one thing that you still need to do...You need to apologize to your home mom and dad for making so much trouble for them, and ask them if they can forgive you for it.
Next time, (including this Saturday) don’t go to ALL of the events that you want to go to. Just pick a few, so that you will not trouble them so much. Remember, your home mom is letting you invite 20 people, which is a lot, so don’t complain about it, and thank her for letting you have a party.
