昨天老弟緊急打電話給我說家裡收到一封學校寄來的信，信裡說到由於我學費沒繳清，所以無法將畢業證書寄給我。

工作忙碌很久沒去Check帳戶的我昨天發現系主任答應要給我的獎學金還沒有入帳，所以果然還有欠款沒交。

緊張之下我寫了三封同樣的信給系主任及兩位指導教授，其中，論文指導教授馬上回信，並且用很嚴厲的口氣寫了一封信給所有相關職員指責系主任，信的內容如下：

Dear colleagues,

I received the attached letter from my former advisee, Jun-Ting Sun,
stating that her graduation/diploma has AGAIN been delayed. For those of you who might not be aware, the Music Department administration has, through their inaction and incompetence, delayed Jun-Ting's graduation at least three times now. Jun-Ting bears no fault in these delays. Over the past year and a half, Jun-Ting and I have done everything asked of us, yet she has still not received her diploma. Mike(匿名), how much longer are you going to subject her to this unethical treatment? You personally promised Jun-Ting and me that you would do the paperwork, then not done that paperwork SO MANY TIMES now that I've lost count. Your first lack of action delayed her initial December 2007 graduation date, and then delayed her again in May causing her increased financial strain as an international student. Now, it's the middle of September 2008 and she is STILL without the diploma she earned. Jun-Ting brought great visibility and represented ISU well as the only masters student selected to present a research paper (from her Masters Thesis) at the International Society for Music Education World Conference this July in Bologna, Italy. Is this how you reward her?

I am both shocked and appalled (but not surprised) that this situation has not been resolved. Is there anything that anyone reading this email can do to help get Jun-Ting her diploma?

這真的是很嚴厲的一封信，今天我馬上就收到信表示已經將我的畢業證書寄出，而且帳戶裡欠款也已經繳清，果然人還是要兇一點?
