Movie about two 40 years old men driving from the north CA to south CA. With testing of wine, with sex with women and not much consider of NEW DIRECTION of LIFE. I think the translation of Chinese for this film is totally wrong. The movie is not hiding anything of true fear for middle age crisis.
There are so many dreams in our life. Therefore, before 40, we live for our work, our family, our children, and our friends. We start to convince ourselves that is something we want. However, there are also a small voice in the deepest of our heart to ask us to fulfill dreams. But after evaluation, it costs too much for sacrifice/giving up to pursuade your dream. Then struggling becomes a normal basis/daily basis issue.
Yape this movie is not good/example one. It is too much bad lanuagues inside. Not too much moral lesson on it. I think the director of this movie just wanna to express what a true feeling of loss for the 40 years old man.
It gave me a notice that I will not waste my time to cry for yesterday or fear to achieve my dream. I am who I want and I work on it. If I do not true to myself, the same feeling will come to me one day. And I will feel the same loss for myself. It is pity to let it happen.
