Tell the truth and shame the devil

A culture of silence creates tremendous risks and costs for a company as a whole and also for individual. When a company is in a trouble, it is common to find that people stop talking to each other, or talk at cross-purposes, or speak in ways that are unconnected to what their colleagues want or their markets need. They hide from facts and hide from each other.

Organization pathology-secrecy, blame, isolation, avoidance, passively, and feelings of hopeless, arise a difficult time for the company and reinforce one another in such a way that the company enters a kind of death spiral.

Passivity and helplessness=>Avoidance and turf protection=>blame and scorn=> Secrecy and denial
