我們有位在Bible study認識的印度同學Rajah
他也是 Ann 系上的碩士班同學
今年暑假畢業後就沒再連絡了
今天意外收到他一封e-mail

Hey huei-an,
how are you... long time...
hey... Guess what... I have some news for you..
Maybe you heard it already...
so.. I wonder if I told you that I got a job in Connecticut
and I moved here to take that up...
and one of my friends (Bob Woodberry from CHBC) told me about this church that meets on yale campus that he thought I might like it very much...
so... I go to this church...
and there is this gentleman who is giving the message that morning...
and he starts talking about a wedding that he said took place right at that place
and that the couple was now in the carolinas and that they all loved them very much...
and then he said their names were charles and ann...
I was like...
this cant be...
So I go and check out the church album...
and sure enough... there was your wedding picture right there...
I spoke to the gentleman that gave the message (that was Hugh)
and yeah!!!!! I was going to ICY at Dwight Chapel...
It was just the greatest to be able to relate to that...
I attend ICY fairly regularly now and everyone talks so fondly of both of you...
Especially hugh and jane
just thought I'd share it with you...
hope you and charles are doing well...
whats news with you and your research...
convey my regards to charles too..

實在是令人太驚喜了
在 International Church at Yale 有我們許多的美好的回憶
在 Yale 兩年的點點滴滴又湧上心頭:
困難時的互相扶持,
1999年我在 Light House Park 的海中受洗,
大家在秋天一同去摘蘋果, 南瓜, 西洋梨,
在 Hugh, Jane 和 Walter, Betty 家無數次的 Christmas, Thanskgiving, Baptism parties...
在準備我們婚禮時教會弟兄姊妹的全力投入, 讓我們有一個神聖莊嚴的婚禮...
記得 Ann 在 Yale 台灣學生畢業歡送會上
說出她在 Yale 兩年中最大的收穫
on top of 學識上, 眼界上的寬闊
她感謝主 讓我信了主
也讓主作我們婚姻的主宰
今天 Rajah 的來信是個可貴的 encouragement
除了讓我們回憶起在康州的點點滴滴以外
也給我們信心和勇氣 in how to keep going on.

Hello you two,
Just wanted you to know that we've been praying for these exams and for your health ever since you told us about it.
We'll keep praying as you've said your exams would be at several times over this whole week.
I understand that you've heard from Rajah--a small world isn't it. I've been waiting for him to contact you instead of me telling the whole thing. What a blessing he is. He's now using his talents to help Betty with music on Sundays and also at the med. school Bible study on Fridays. The church usually has 40-50 almost every Sunday now as it's "fed" from the B. study.
We miss you two so much.
How's Brian doing? I often think of him too.
