What a dark horse!
文/Dr.J.J.
Grace:This is totally unexpected. Thomas was selected as chairman of the labor union.
Christina:What! Everyone thought it would be Peter instead of him.
Grace:Yes, I thought so, too. Peter’ s got better academic background, plus he’ s younger and more ambitious.
Christina:All true, but I guess that’ s exactly why Thomas won at the end. He’ s got better connection in the group. Besides, he starts all his way from the bottom so it makes people think he’ s more reliable and down-to-earth.
Grace:But I have to say he’ s really a dark horse. Nobody would have guessed it before the result came out.
