Something happpened and change my life here completely! My roommate, Ernest falls in love with Sarah!
When did they start? When they go to XiaMen during last Friday night to Sunday. They two are lying on the beach on XiaMen, Ernest asked,"May you be my gf?" Sarah originally thought that he was joking only. But indeed he is serious. I dunno how Sarah agree with him, but the result is they are now together.
I even dun know on the night when they returned. On Monday night, they appear at my hotel room door, and told me,"Dennis, I have got a good news wanna tell you."said Ernest,"We are lovers." In the beginning of these FuZhou journey, I have asked Sarah and Ernest to consider each other as his/her bf/gf, as I think they are the same kind of ppl. However, the practical problems made this seem quite impossible. So, it is quite shocking for me to hear about this. They slept at the bed next to me that night, that's Monday.
I told Chiam on Tuesday morning, and we both agree that they can't last very long. Sarah just keeps MSN to me about her dreams about their future. She wanna get married with him and live together forever. I dun quench her passion, and always reply positively. However, Chiam and I know that it is only trill at a time for the two lonely. When I asked Sarah have her thought about how they will maintain their relationship when Ernest works in China. She said there is no better way other than phone. I believe it is available only for lovers with firm foundation. Also, they dun wanna the colleagues knowing about their relations, so they pretend nothing during office hours. You know, our office hour is 9:00 am.-12:00 pm., there is little private time left for them. It is unheealthy and suffering for a newly developing relations. The more funny thing is they dunno all the colleagues have already realized their relations(including our incharge), and they continue to pretend and pretend. It is not good for incharge to know about this as she is quite a "Yam Sum" person, and the future of Ernest maybe adversely affected.
Their only private time is after-work time, just like Wednesday, when all of us are playing snooker from 11:30pm to 1:15am at hotel, they stay in my room. And I go to the Alan's room to sleep. I told Alan that it is embarrassing to sleep next to them in my room, and Alan had to let me sleep with him. However, Ernest and Sarah dunno where I have gone, and search for me wor. The most wasting is Sarah returned to her room to sleep.......
In these two days, Jess(incharge) allows us to leave after dinner. Sarah is exhilerating(so as me) about that coz she can return hotel earlier to wash and iron the clothes for Ernest. I am delightedly as I can do exercises/running in our hotel. I now run for 30 mins everyday(walk really), and run faster and faster day by day. I also have my shirt ironed and washed everday.
Yesterday, I go to a ATM to count money wor. There are 2 trays in the ATM, and the sum of them should be 379,000 wor. However, there are only 378,900 in the trays when they counted with the money counting machine. They are very excited at that moment, and the incharge of the branch started to scold his subordinates. They finally count the money again by hands. Of course, they can figure out the 100 Yuan note at last. This event again prove human beings are more reliable than machine, sometimes.
