2001 could have been a perfect year in music, if only our beloved angel Aaliyah did not take an unexpectedly fatal fall from the sky. On August 25, 2001, Aaliyah, a promising 22-year-old American R&B singer, dancer, actress & model died in a plane crash on her way back from a music video shoot.
"Miss You" is an R&B ballad from Aaliyah's first posthumous album I Care 4 U. Though the song is not a standard Aaliyah song featuring Timbaland's production, it is more well known as a memorial song for our beautiful baby girl. The music video for "Miss You" featured tributes from Aaliyah's many friends in the hip-hop and R&B community.
