Solid Base was one of the many Eurodance groups to put some chilling rap flava in their smoking dance songs. Composed of vocalist Isabelle Heitmann and rapper Thomas "Teo T" Nordin, Solid Base was huge in Scandinavia, scoring smash hits like "Mirror Mirror", "You Never Know" and "Come'n Get Me" in the late 90s. The group was also doing incredibly well in Japan, as seen from all the Japanese comments in their YouTube videos.
"Sunny Holiday" is taken from their second full-length album The Take Off which was released in 1998, and also makes it to the group's greatest hits album. The radio-friendly song really lives up to its name and gives you a vivid picture of a barbecue party on the beach in summertime.
