Avril Lavigne took us back to the good old days by smoothly performing the fan favorite "I'm With You" at Walmart Soundcheck. She also performed "What The Hell" and "Girlfriend", but picking "I'm With You" is probably another hint that Goodbye Lullaby (in stores on March 8) would be heavily ballad-oriented.
“This album’s a little more stripped down and raw,” Avril talked about her fourth studio album in the Soundcheck interview. “Goodbye Lullaby stands for saying goodbye to something familiar, comforting. And stepping away from it and moving forward and opening a new chapter.”
"I'm With You" is the fourth track off her debut album Let Go, while the fourth track from Goodbye Lullaby is the Max Martin-produced "Wish You Were Here". Strangely enough, both songs contain the damn word in the chorus.
