我不是像皮格碼利能享受創造之樂,也不是像弗藍肯斯那樣因自己的作品而作繭自縛。

When I translate this sentence. There are two  points that I need to clarify. One is Frankenstein. The other is Pygmalion. He's a sculptor. One time,he carved a attractive female statue, but he adored what he carved very much.Since he pay more attention to his works like praying for God.,Female God Aprodite gave this female statue life, after she found this matter .Pygmalion, eventullay ,came true.

Frankenstenin is derived from Frankstein' novel written y M.W Shelly. He is a very doctor with the Degree of Medicine. One time he invented a monster.Unfortunaltely he was eaten by this monster. From those background knowledge mentioned above, the former focuses on the beauty of what they created and enjoyed;the latter focuses on what punishment he should deserve because of creating a terrific monster. If you interate this sentence, you should add footnotes. If you choose free translation, you would loose the meaning of an orginal context. So ,we should consider both literal translation.I am not like a Pygmalion to both literal translation and free translation. However,I am not like a Pygmalion to create what he likes and to enjoy this own works. In addition,I am also different from the latter.Translatiors need to realize what context and the meaning of author intended to convey.A translator should infer the author 's use of this sentence to express his connotative meaning.

This sentence basically involves personal background knowledge. If someone has no idea about this backup, they could be disoriented about two jargon - Frankenstein & Pygmalion.
