Slow - Cooker Chicken Vegetable Soup
Soup is my favorite. It is easy to understand to cook. Chinese people usually have soup for a decent meal. According to traditional Chinese medicine, chicken soup can make lungs and kidneys stronger and moisten joints. It is also highly regarded for its richness in collagen and proteins. Furthermore, we can add some vegetable into the soup. Lots of doctors recommended more fiber in our diet. For the other, chicken soup is also perfect candidate if you feel tired or need much needed energy—to make the body feel warm and stronger. I guest it is the best choice to supplement and harmonize your body before winter arrives.
Ingredients:
serves 6: 1 cup per serving
•16 ounces no-salt-added frozen vegetables for soup.
•3/4 cup diagonally sliced celery.
•1/2 cup sliced parsnip. (optional)
•4 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves.
•4 cups fat-free, low-sodium chicken broth.
•1 teaspoon all-purpose salt free seasoning.
•1/2 teaspoon salt.
•1 teaspoon dried dillweed, crumbled.
•1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon pepper.
•1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes/ (optional)
Directions:
The first ingredient we need to use a knife, break up the soup vegetables. Put them in a slow cooker .Top, in order, with the leek, celery, parsnip, and chicken. In a 4-cup glass measure or medium bowl, stir together the remaining in gradients. Pour over the chicken and vegetables. Cook, covered on low for 8 hours or on high for 5 to 7 hours, or on high for 5 to 7 hours, or until the chicken and vegetables are tender. Skim off any scum, if necessary. Transfer the chicken to cutting board when it is cool enough to handle, cut or tear the chicken into chunks. Return the chicken to the slow cooler and serve.
