Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire/ Mike Newell (director)/ J. K. Rowling (Novel)
Thanks for someone went to see this movie with me, I should appreciate him at first.
I read this Novel Episode-4 since 2 years. That weekend I just finished an important task, and intended to relax in that night. Read an interesting novel is a good choice for me thought I have to get in office at 8 o’clock. It takes me 3 hours read it at Eslite bookstore till midnight.
Memories to this episode have passed with time, but these almost perfect special effects in this movie, such as the carriage with flying horses in sky and the huge Nordic argosy (actually Viking will be better here, but I can’t sure the adjective) appeared from the water, really made me surprise.
Contrast with the special effects, the appearance of college students from abroad is too easy and stingy. Just like they are models on the way of a show, I mean it’s too pretence to be active and natural students.
Because of these reasons, audiences may not get any deep impact. This movie had no choice but to give up many details in novel, and it caused many scenarios lost their original relationships in text. Most scenarios were treated to a very strange side, especially in the dimensions of conflicts, friendship, and the love feelings among all roles.
Finally, the new famous supporting roles, Cedric Diggory (acted by Robert Pattinson ) and Viktor Krum (acted by Stanislav Ianevski), was mentioned in many channels at the beginning of this movie. Maybe the preview and playbills make them too gorgeous, I have a little disappointed with them after viewing.
Cedric was acted as a little soft and weak, and his appearance makes me think about many lounge lizards in previous movies. In another side, Krum owns good body shape and hard personality, but I find a strange feeling with him. The feelings are close to impolite and rude. I mean, Krum can be more cute and charming for me if he can show out more proclivity of scholarship. That will makes him more soft and worth to be like. Actually I believe both of them have specific cultivation and personality, but the Novel’s describes were too simple; this also makes them unclear in this movie.
Anyway, we can expect this episode movie’s box office will be good, and most audiences (include me) like it very much. But finally, we got routine and rough images from the goblet of fire, none mysterious parchments.
