He suddenly cried out my name and said: “We haven't talked to each other for two years! Not even a word!”

How familiar the words were!
At one time, there was also somebody saying the same thing to me.

However, I did nothing to response but smiled.

Well...I just don't know what on earth is the proper way to react when confronting such questions, especially when in the presence of you.
