Yes, this is a palace-like place, located in the desert of Arizona, United States.
And it is JW Marriot Desert Ridge Resort and Spa, a luxurious hotel in Phonix.
I’m going to attend a meeting out there in October, originally there’ll be my boss going with me, now I’ll go there along.
Gee~ I have to admit that I don’t even know this series of meetings would be held in such a fun and great place.
This is only the entrance gate.
The hotel guest room buildings, now I know why the application form from the meeting would have some ”extra activities” for the attendees.
It’s a place for vacation, not for meeting!!!
Though we don’t plan to participate in any of these fun games (Jeep exploring the desert, horseback riding, golf shotgun, 18 holes golf games, tennis, blah blah blah), after all, I’m going there to attend the meeting and meet up with some Mr. Bigs over there, time is so limited so I have to fill up my schedule as soon as possible.
This would be my room, guess that would be the biggest room for me ever, 468 square feet, which equals to approximately 143 square metres, plus a full view balcony which can let you enjoy the sunshine and afternoon tea over there (if I have time for it)
King size bed, Internet access, cable TV, 2 direct phone lines with cordless phones, shower room and a tub.
Yes, ”if” I got the chance, (god knows, maybe I should arrange meeting just by the pool) I’ll definitely lie myself there to enjoy the Arizona sunshine and then jump into the cool water if it’s too hot staying on shore.
See the palm trees?
Yes, I love them, too.
This is the hallway inside the hotel building, guess I won’t spend much time here, cuz the offictial meeting schedule is so tight that I have to hurry from one room to the other once it’s finished.
Yes, yes, yes.
They own a golf course, standard 18 holes, as you may see, with cactuses inside, David strongly suggest me for taking photos with those famous cactuses in desert.
Okay, I’ll try~
The pool view during the night, say, we may also hold meetings here at nighttime.
I’m not sure if I may make good friends with other attendees as last time my being in Chicago, but I’m quite sure I’d love to and this resort provides a perfect place for that.
The lobby, a good place for waiting up people you have appointments.
But not for here, I believe people would rather wait for you outside the building for enjoying the lovely facilities outside~~~
Owell, since I’ll be there along, I may only grab my pillow downstairs for sitting by the pool~
Looks great, huh?
But I’m not going there for vacation, tons of pre-works need to be done first and important mission goals have to be completed during the meeting period, wish me luck for that!
