Tasting - Four Bruichladdich

Bruichladdich 1986 15yo 46% OB Oak cask

C: deep amber, brown gold

21 N: Deep and hidden wood cask, vanilla, a little raisin, mushroom, leaf, earthy, then some prune, orange, 佛手柑, apricot, 1st filled oak cask?

20 T: medium, orange, ginger, raisin, mushroom, plenty of wood cask, a little bitterness, truffle chocolate, banana oil

21 F: medium, few complexes, finish in some dark chocolate, mushroom, a little raisin, apricot, bitter at the end

20 B: balanced, good extension for nosing, but lack of variant for tasting at the end

 

Bruichladdich 1970 125th Anniversary 40.1% OB B#2059/2502

C: gold amber

24 N: Deep, rich, fresh, sweet tropical fruit, banana, orange, melon, peach, pear, pineapple, mango, followed by some coconut milk, vanilla, honey, roasted cream toast, plenty of flavors, elegant and beautiful

22 T: Full, round and smooth, orange, grapefruit, peach, a little plum, raisin, bitter, very oil, then some quinces, wood cask and chocolate

22 F: long, finish in some orange, chocolate, plum, raisin, coconut milk, a little ginger, apricot, almond,豆干,thin wood and bitter at the end

22 B: good balanced, very enjoy for nosing, good extension, complexes and rich flavors, but somehow the body is degraded fast, what a pity

 

Bruichladdich 1970/2002 44.2% OB

C: yellow gold

24 N: tropical fruit, coconut milk, peach, pear, melon, rich and complexes, sweet, followed by some fresh cream, orange, grapefruit, then some milk candy, apricot, toasted, caramel,栗子. Elegant w/ good layers

23 T: full, a little spicy, dry. Very fruity, melon, peach, pear, coconut, a little mint, beautiful wood cask, apricot, raisin, some liquorice at the end

23 F: long, milk candy, peach, some sandal wood,柚木, raisin, apricot, vanilla, tangerine, coconut milk, very similar to 125th , maybe better

23 B: very good balanced, complexes and good texture, expected more variety and extension for tasting, but still very enjoy

 

Port Charlottle PC6 2001/2007 61.6% OB

C: light yellow

22 N: beautiful peat sweet, vanilla, toffee, camembert cheese, cream, then some heather, smoky wood cask, followed by some white pepper, apricot, smoky pear, a little melon, potato jam, more like A10 but w/ more rich

22 T: medium, dry, spicy, strong impact, deep and rich peat, a little liquorices, very oil, some pepper, clean and beautiful peat full of mouth, a little chocolate at the end

21 F: long, peaty, some ripe fruit, melon, ginger and cream at the end

22 B: good balanced, better than previous experience, clean and typical Islay style, long extension and good texture

 

PS.125th和 1970 44.2%比起Lagacy 3的口感及尾韻,的確好多了

我也覺得1970 44.2%表現不錯 , 但大家的評價有點兩極化 , 有點M型發展的感覺 , 倒是很少見到1973的酒評 , 這支與1970 44.2%上市的時間差不多 , 卻沒怎麼見到相關的文章 ?

我覺得比較有可能是樣品狀況的問題.1973台灣好像進的較少? 只是不知道誰有開..
