晚上Teddy帶我去吃Mexican料理呦 (Diego at MGM Grand)! (這是我們下午一家一家餐廳去看 選出來的lucky restaurant).

Side note: Actually, it restaurant turns itself into a Latin musical night club on the weekend nights. You could hear the blasting salsa and hot Hispanic hiphop music if you walk by it in the wee hours of weekend mornings)

因為Mexico就在US的下面 對喜歡吃道地的當地美食的甜來說
是本著 ‘US的Mexican food應該會比NZ的道地吧?’ 這樣的想法而挑這家餐廳

根據Teddy的說法 Mexican料理通常都是family restaurant
也就是說 會比較隨興. It is not often to find an upscale Mexican restaurant.
但是 我們一進去就發現 裡面的裝潢蠻exotic 很漂亮
(用的酒紅色當background colour 我很喜歡喔!!)

我們一坐下 都還沒開始點菜呢 就先送來一盤corn chips加dips
Dips有3種不同的salsa醬 3種salts 還可以現場幫你做Guacamole醬 (有許多我喜歡的avocado呢!)

再來上的是飲料
甜喝的是道地的Mexico drink ‘Sangrita’ 一種以tomato juice當底 外加一點tequila的雞尾酒 甜甜的 很好喝
(好大一杯)

Teddy喝的是Mexican Style的Margarita 味道有點smoky 很是特別
小喝一口 嗯 比我的烈


前菜上的是一道湯 有著煮的軟軟的onion與蔬菜 味道很香 不過鹹了點
Teddy幫我喝完它 (Thank you Teddy)

主餐Teddy點的是牛排 有好多好多的mushroom 看起來還不錯吃
我的是Fajitas 有炒牛肉絲+紅豆飯+沙拉 還有餅皮
(有點像KF裡的chicken roll 只不過我的是牛肉)
味道有點香香辣辣的 對很多人來說應該是很下飯的一道菜 只不過對我來說會是吃得很流汗的一道菜
Waiter知道我不會吃辣 給了我一點sour cream中和一下味道
嗯! 容易入口多了 *感恩*
吃了corn chips + 前菜 + roll 那道紅豆飯我已經吃不下了
只好整盤還給waiter帶進去

甜點一看就很rich
Chocolate short cake 上面還有marshmallow 嗯~
不過 說真的 marshmallow is not my cup of tea 太甜了 不健康
所以健康甜只好把它拿掉 只與Teddy分吃下面的蛋糕體
這個甜點雖然看起來很Rich 不過其實是黑巧克力+核桃碎果粒 所以不是很甜
很好入口

Cirque de Soleil O Show

飯後 Teddy帶甜去看Las Vegas最有名的團體 Cirque du Soleil的show ‘O’
整個O是在一個室內的水上世界演出, about 1.5 millions of water in that pool. The pool and the theater cost more than $100 million to build(可惜與前一晚一樣 不能照相)
一開始的舞台 是一般的地板 有許多的表演者在上面跳舞
突然之間 整面舞台又變成一面湖 上面不但有芭蕾舞者 還有船
前一秒 舞台整個是淺灣 走過去 水波蕩漾
下一秒 舞台又變成半湖半地 表演者在地上與水裡跳著舞
真是讓人嘆為觀止

另外 開場與中場時暖場的兩位小丑之可愛 讓人忍不住哄堂大笑
(他們最成功的是 在最後 他們只要一出來 還沒表演呢 一看到他們大家的臉上就有笑容了)

到show結束後 甜的heart and mind 還停留在O裡 久久無法忘懷
Teddy問 下次再帶你來Las Vegas看Cirque du Soleil的秀好不好時
甜的頭 就像人家車子裡的大頭狗玩具一般 點的好用力 *笑*

Side: Cirque de Soleil is an entertainment production company. It has various types of shows, often involving live music, singing, dancing, acrobats, comedy, and other types of stage performances, and ”O” is one of them. Each of the shows would have a theme and a storyline. Ours is about ”Water”. In Vegas, the different Cirque de Soleil shows are performed at different hotels scattered out on the Strip.
