「錄取」的英文怎麼說？
「錄取」最常見的兩個說法就是 admit 和 accept， 大多數時候用於表達錄取「大專院校」的意思。⚠️特別要注意的是，用這兩個字表達錄取的時候，切記要用「被動」的型態。

我們全都為你被普林斯頓錄取感到驕傲。
Hire 這個字就是「雇用」的意思，因此 be/get hired by 意味著「被某間公司錄用」。

Position 除了姿勢和位置之外，也有「職位」的意思。所以 get offered a position 就是得到公司的一個職位，也就是被錄取了！

Paula被一家新加坡的公司錄取了。現在她在考慮是否應該接受這個職位。
Offer 作動詞用的時候是「提供」的意思，當成名詞的時候代表「工作機會」。因此，get an offer 也是「錄取」的另一個說法～

Admit 和 Accept 的差別？
Admit 和 accept 這兩個動詞之間主要的差別在於：Admit 只能用於「大學院校」的錄取；Accept 則不只可以用在「大學院校」，也可用於「工作」的錄取喔！

💡 從上面的例句劃底線處，我們可以觀察到，凡是提到錄取學校，介系詞要用 “to” + 學校；而講到工作的錄取，我們則用 “by” + 公司。這樣你記清楚了嗎？
Admission 還是 Acceptance？

Admission 和 Acceptance 的差別，Admission 不只表示錄取，還包含了入學的程序；而 Acceptance 就比較單純指被學校錄取的部份。
那麼「錄取通知信」要怎麼說呢？在後面加上 letter ，變成 👉🏼 Admission letter 或 Acceptance letter 就可以囉！
但如果談到一間學校的「錄取率」，一般我們會說 Acceptance rate⭕️，而不會說 Admission rate❌
