愛在瘋煙四起時（Дом дураков，House of Fools）
精神病院裡的瘋子，跟戰爭中拼鬥的雙方，究竟哪個瘋狂？哪個正常？
故事發生在車臣的一家精神病院，女主角讓娜（Юлия Высоцкая飾）幻想自己是加拿大歌手布萊恩‧亞當斯（Bryan Adams親飾）的未婚妻，院裡的病患最期待的，就是每天夜裡，能從窗口向外望去，看那輛呼嘯而過的火車。
某天夜裡，大家一起等待，但火車沒有來，醫生與護士們知道戰爭已然迫近，但病患們卻毫無所知。凌晨，護士逃命去了，醫生則向外求援；整間病院裡沒有主事者，戰爭的魔爪卻向他們襲來。一下子是車臣、一下子是俄羅斯的士兵闖進了精神病院，病患們雖有各自獨特的思維，但在這混亂當中，他們誠心地選擇依靠彼此。
每當不開心的事情發生的時候，讓娜總是彈起手風琴，讓悠揚的琴聲化解眼前的戾氣。我很喜歡讓娜的溫柔與直率，不管是她愛的情人或朋友，都能獲得她滿懷的注意力。讓娜愛一個人的時候，全心全意，怕他寂寞；照顧一個人的時候，細心呵護，怕他難受。只是，她的愛情是幻想出來的，不管是布萊恩‧亞當斯，或是車臣士兵阿里，心裡都沒有她。
很喜歡Bryan Adams串場的那首「Have You Ever Really Loved A Woman」，好浪漫喔！
對立的車臣跟俄羅斯士兵，是荒謬而可憐的存在。看到流血與毒品交易，什麼是真的生命的意義？戰爭又是為了什麼？統治與被統治，非要爭個清楚不可，只要是我的，就不容遭掠奪。人類，永遠跳脫不了這樣的思維。「戰爭中最重要的不是勝利，而是死亡」！透過與精神病院的對比，人性中的良善與暴力，清晰可見。
