馳騁樂壇超過30年歲月的Motorhead，
雖然歷經團員不斷更迭，
自始至終卻仍保持原始之聲，
並不斷嘗試多樣金屬面貌。
結合硬式搖滾、重金屬、速度金屬、
鞭笞金屬的重量級樂團Motorhead，
從英國倫敦出發，
迅速席捲全球。
1977-2008年持續問世作品，
受到摔角節目WWE、各類極限運動遊戲的歡迎，
紛紛採用其單曲當襯底音樂。
其中於1981年發行的第一張現場收音特輯『No Sleep ’Til Hammersmith』，
拿下英國金榜冠軍寶座，
讓Motorhead音樂事業登上高峰，
也獲頒金唱片銷售認證。
執行製作人則是邀請Led Zeppelin、Jimi Hendrix、
Eric Clapton等世界重量級團隊經典專輯之幕後操手Vic Maile掌舵。
靈魂人物Lemmy Kilmister，
不僅擔任Motorhead主唱和貝斯手職位，
更橫跨電視、電影領域，
還令人吃驚的把玩起DJ。
至今團員已經更替到第11代，
除了Lemmy之外，
還有吉他手Phil Campbell以及鼓手Mikkey Dee等構成簡單三人組合。

感想
Motorhead，
一支來自大英帝國的老牌樂團，
出道至今超過30年，
為重金屬樂，
寫下一段輝煌的歷史。
重金屬發源地英國，
出了許許多多的經典名團，
如Iron Maiden、Black Sabbath等，
支支嗆辣，支支經典，
也為後輩們，
留下了許許多多的經典名曲。
老牌的heavy metal樂團，
堅持著最純粹的metal精神，
最早起源於西方1960年代後期的Heavy Rock，
1970年代初的新一批樂團（Led Zeppelin , Black Sabbath , Deep Purple等）將演奏技巧加以改良，
Glam Rock潮流過後又出現了一批正式自稱重金屬音樂的樂團Judas Priest（猶太祭司）。
70年代的Punk代表樂團性手槍風波過後，
在英國的地下搖滾圈子裡突然崛起了一種新式的金屬潮流：New Wave of British Heavy Metal，
其中的主力樂團有Iron Maiden，Def Leppard，Motorhead，Saxon……
幾乎同時，該金屬風波也引起了美國樂團的反應，
Metallica，Megadeth，Savatage造就美國重金屬的興起。
Motorhead走過輝煌的歷史，
他們的音樂無庸置疑的就像聖經一樣，
可說是每位metal咖必敗的樂團之一，
他們的音樂，
聽了讓人很快的就可以回歸到最初的重金屬裡，
渾厚紮實的鼓聲，
令人嘆為觀止的吉他技巧及效果器使用，
老派卻又不令人厭煩的vocal，
