   Also, our role is to be an expert to teach our clients the importance of homeostasis in their life. Since I believe that human nature grow to become wholeness and humans are an outgrowth of what a person experiences, as long as our clients can perceive an awareness of themselves, they can differentiate themselves from others. They need only a new balance to help them to grow to be wholeness and completeness.

    Counselors' first goal is to help clients to realize that they have the right to make mistakes and learn to become completeness and wholeness. Hawking (1988) once said" We go about our daily lives understanding almost nothing of the world." In 1514, Nichales Gobelin suggested that, rather than our "earth", the "sun" should be the center of our universe. Nobody believed this new perspective at that moment and many even persecuted him. Eventually, however, after many unnecessary sacrifices, this concept was finally accepted as truth. What is the truth? The truth is, compared with people who have lived in decades, years and even centuries before, we are still climbing "the mountain" of knowledge. Although we may look further and broader than before, the "peak" of this quest remains "unknown".

     History reveals that we are always repeating the same mistakes our ancestor have made before, mistakes with same failings: stupidity, selfish, and greed. All our problems are caused by these things, though, with different outlet. Therefore, our first goal is to help our clients to realize this reality. 

My final goal is not only to teach a person to know how to interact effectively with the world, but also to let him realize that this world belongs to all of us. No matter who has upset the balance of this world, we all pay for it. Suffering becomes important because we grow from suffering. However, since we grow from the interaction between society and ourselves, and since experiences teach us that only by giving ourselves can we get what we want, we begin to realize the importance of give and take, social interest and charity.
