採訪阿發時，他說參與這支動畫的過程，雖然他是世新畢業的，動畫卻是專業的技術。他重新學怎麼寫腳本、畫分鏡，動畫師製作時，阿發也沒閒著，不斷溝通、調整。如果我們的孩子都只愛迪士尼、日本的動畫，是不是我們該好好鼓勵國內的動畫製作團隊，讓臺灣也能有自己的好作品，說自己的好故事。

百元「綠島大象」啟動大夢想

    100元可以買到什麼？咖啡？便當？勉強加滿機車油箱的汽油？或者，你有更超值的選擇？ 

    100元徹底改變李孟發的生命路徑，買到一頭大象，離開了13年的金融領域工作，卻賺進許多孩子的夢想，其間得失權衡，是值得深深玩味的歷程。

我很讚　所以要出國囉!

    「綠島大象」繪本回臺東辦新書發表會，第一站在阿發母校─仁愛國小，用綠島大象讓孩子知道，有許多你覺得「該丟掉的」東西，只要多用心，會發現它還有不同用途。 

    阿發特別介紹仁愛國小的水泥白色大象，他曾在大象肚子下度過童年失意、沮喪時光，這個好朋友是觸動買下綠島大象的原點。 

    綠島大象的故事在欣誠教授協助下，引起丹麥駐臺北辦事處關注，丹麥首都根本哈根有個著名的小美人魚地標，命運和綠島大象有異曲同工之妙，他們希望促成綠島大象和小美人魚有相見歡的機會，向世界宣揚環境教育。 

    「綠島大象環境教育推廣計畫」並獲得行政院環保署「101年地球環境季」績優獎，對阿發毋疑是一種肯定。辭去工作三年多來，為綠島大象投注的金錢和心力，無法具體計價。阿發還成立動畫工作室，為綠島大象製作動畫，讓小朋友更容易走進故事核心。他一直希望轉行到文創領域，綠島大象提供更廣的人生平台，生命因而充實，不是金錢可以衡量的。 

    綠島大象不但為孩子圓夢，也讓阿發圓了自我價值的追求。
