Gil Shaham & Canary Classics

Don't know if it's a good decision or not: Gil Shaham, one of my favourite violinists in the younger generation, freed from the contract of Deutsche Grammophon (one of the largest classical music labels on earth), and established his own label, Canary Classics.

According to Andante.com, the first album by Canary Classic has been released in Novemnber, which is a Faure Album. (Oh my god, the sweet Shaham plays the sweet Faure... We really don't need candies anymore!) However, I don't know how can a small label like this work. The Faure Album is not listed out even at Amazon.com!

Hopefully our local CD stores would stock it soon...
