Santa Claus 聖誕老公公
The old man who delivers presents to all the children on Christmas has been labeled many things. Santa Claus, Father Christmas, and Kris Kringle are all names for Saint1 Nicholas. Saint Nicholas lived in what is now known as Turkey until his death in 343. He gave presents and assisted people who were down on their luck.

　　The modern-day Santa Claus is loved by all children. On the night of December 24, Santa gets in his sleigh2 led by eight reindeer3 and magically travels around the globe. He makes his way into houses through the chimneys4 and puts presents under Christmas trees. This jolly old man has two wishes for everyone—be kind to each other and have a merry Christmas.

　　這位在聖誕節將禮物分送給所有孩童的老先生有許多稱呼。聖誕老公公、聖誕節之父以及克里斯‧克林格，都是聖尼古拉斯的名字。一直到西元343年去世前為止，聖尼古拉斯都住在現今稱為土耳其的國度中。他十分樂善好施，常幫助遭逢不幸的人們。

　　如今的聖誕老人則受到孩子們的喜愛。12月24日晚上，他會駕著由8隻馴鹿拉扯的雪橇，神奇地遍遊全球。他從煙囪鑽入房子，並把禮物放在聖誕樹下。這名笑呵呵的老公公對所有人有著2個願望──善待他人，更要過個快樂的聖誕節。
