closer，台灣翻譯成「偷情」，也有人覺得原文比較貼切電影要談的，每個人都想更靠近自己的伴侶，更了解他/她們在想什麼。

這部片原本是英國舞台劇，改編成電影。這個電影的劇情或許對有些人來說很通俗，但卻非常寫實。這個劇本的犀利度非常高，將愛情剖析的很透徹，加上四個厲害的演員，尤其兩位配角，讓這部片增色不少。而且這部片最特別的是雖然台詞有些露骨卻不低俗。
四個主角分別是Anna(茱莉亞羅勃玆)、Dan(裘德洛)、Larry(克里夫歐文)、Alice(娜塔莉波嫚)。

電影中有首情歌，叫 「The Blower’s Daughter」，歌手是Damien Rice。
一個吉他，一個大提琴，一個主音，一個和音，簡單而深刻，美麗又令人心酸的旋律.....
聽完的感覺有點悲傷.....
