Dear aunt Cathy:

i am glad that you are already getting better from the fever,
please take good care of yourself !!

recently, we are short of front desk workers.
the one who used to work in the morning shift decided to change to another job and only work part time here.
the other one girl who is going to deliver a baby in march takes over the morning shift.
so i have to help more with afternoon shift and sometimes the morning shift.
and there was one important thing really tired everyone in the week was the
INSPECTION.
Marianne and Henry were here in hotel every day to instruct everybody to prepare for the inspection. and you know how they act.........they are tight.
so i was yelled again by Henry on Monday just because i let a guest stay over for one more night! i was very unhappy about that and even the guest thought Henry was rude.
after that, Henry said that is the way they talk and asked me to tolerate it.
i know that, but what let me so angry is Henry never yells at other workers, especially the one who works in front desk named Alexis. Henry is soooo nice to her.
everytime i do somthing wrong, Henry just teaches me impatiently and expects
that i should know everything.
if it was Alexis, Henry just forgives her and teaches her very tenderly, even Alexis works here longer than me. i think it is so unfair and disgusting!!
although Henry is nice to me at home, but i think he shoudn’t do the differences between me and other workers in work field.
anyway i really felt bad on Monday; i had a fake smile on my face whenever a customer comes. i was fed up with the unreasonable acts from some guests; what’s more, i should tolerate with Henry! if such a thing happens again and again, it is unnecessary to be here any more. unreasonable acts from customers in
serving business are unavoidable, but from our own staff is intolerant!

originally, i plan to go back to Taiwan for VACATION in march but it seems so
busy here. i don’t know if they would let me go.
i have soooo many things to tell you~
maybe i will call you on the weekend.......take care!
