內塔尼亞湖: '聖殿山上將不會有另一所清真寺'Netanyahu: ‘Won’t be Another Mosque on the Temple Mount’
Tensions continued to bubble Monday on the Temple Mount after the “Gate of Mercy” structure near the Al-Aqsa mosque was certified as another mosque, with silent agreement from Israel, despite official denials issued by Israeli authorities.
Government officials said that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu issued an order to remove equipment from the site and disallow prayer there.
The structure was recently fitted with rugs and other furnishings along with renovations. Eran Tzidkiyahu of the Forum for Regional Thinking visited the site on Monday and assessed that it would soon be used as a permanent prayer area for Muslims.
Meanwhile, the Islamic authority that oversees Muslim holy sites in Jerusalem, known as the Waqf, announced it has already appointed an imam for the “Gate of Mercy” structure and that its status would be identical to other sites of worship on the Temple Mount.
Israeli police on Sunday arrested the head of Waqf authority, Sheikh Abdelazeem Salhab, and other Waqf leaders, following violent protests last week on the Temple Mount. Salhab, who was released shortly after his arrest and barred from the area for one week, was appointed by neighboring Jordan.
From one mosque to five If Israel does not act to reverse the trend, the number of mosques at the Temple Mount compound will stand at five.
Some 52 years ago, immediately following the Six-Day War, there was only one mosque, Al-Aqsa mosque. Over time, the Dome of the Rock was also certified as a mosque and mostly serves Muslim women on Fridays. In the 1990s, two other mosques were certified, but underground: the “Gate of Mercy” area, which some Muslims in recent days have hailed as the “fifth mosque,” was shut down by Israel in 2005 after a Hamas-linked group carried out activities there.
The new Waqf leadership, comprising officials from Fatah, the Palestinian Authority, Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood, breached the site around two weeks ago, and last Friday thousands of worshipers prayed there. Waqf leaders arrested by Israel, as stated, were released a short while later on shaky legal grounds, as the aforementioned Hamas-affiliated group that had operated there, and which served as the pretext for shutting the site down, no longer exists, and doubts emerged over the legality of the most recent closure order.
‘Strong resistance’It should be noted that before 2005, although the compound was controlled by the Muslims it didn’t function as a mosque and people normally didn’t use it for worship.
Senior Arab-Israeli figures, among them the head of the High Follow-Up Committee for Arab citizens of Israel, former Knesset member Mohammad Barakeh, together with representatives of the Balad and Ra’am parties, visited the structure on Monday and met with Waqf leaders.
“It is the right of every Muslim to prayer at Al-Aqsa mosque. The actions of the Israeli government to Judaize Jerusalem and erode the status quo at Al-Aqsa will be met with strong resistance,” they threatened.
An Israeli government official said: “The prime minister gave instructions to enforce the court’s order without compromise. The political echelon won’t allow the site to become a mosque. This directive was passed to the police and this message was delivered to certain authorities and to Jordan as well. The prime minister has instructed the public security minister [Gilad Erdan] to remove the rugs and other equipment from the site.”

A decision indicting Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on corruption charges in Case 2000 would “endanger democracy and freedom of the press,” Harvard University Professor Emeritus Alan Dershowitz wrote in an open letter to Attorney General Avichai Mandelblit on Tuesday.
Dershowitz, one of the most prominent Jewish lawyers in the United States and worldwide, posted the letter on his Twitter page.
“Such charges would open up a Pandora’s box out of which would flow a parade of horribles: Every government official—legislators, judges, prosecutors, police offices, administrators—who sought positive coverage in the media, and then did anything that helped the media, would have to be investigated,” he wrote.
In Case 2000, Netanyahu allegedly supported a law that would curtail Israel Hayom to gain fairer coverage from its competitor Yediot Achranot in a deal struck with its publisher Arnon “Noni” Mozes. Netanyahu ultimately voted against the law, leaving prosecutors to deal with possible motives but no real evidence.
“In the Yediot matter, more than 40 Knesset and cabinet members voted in favor of the newspaper, while [Netanyahu] effectively killed the bill and went to elections. Many of the Knesset members then received positive coverage in Yediot Achranot. Yet they were not investigated. Only the prime minister, who killed the bill, is being prosecuted. This disparity illustrates the enormous discretion prosecutors have in selectively prosecuting alleged violators of this open-ended prosecutorial tool.
“There is no limiting principle to this open-ended intrusion of the criminal law into the delicate, and legally protected, relationship between government officials and the media.”
The letter continued: “Any such charge would give law enforcement far too much power to dictate to the media and to officials they cover how they relate to each other. In a democracy, criticism of the relationship between media and government should be left to voters, not prosecutors.
“I urge you, Mr. Attorney General, to consider the dangerous implications for democracy and freedom of the press if you go forward with these charges against the prime minister.”

Zechariah’s Prophecy: Trump, Cyrus, Blood Moons and the Third Temple

Super Blood Moon To Pass Over U.S. Capital on Trump’s Pesident-aversary
Next month, a super blood moon will pass over the U.S. capital on a Jewish holiday in a manner that one pastor argues connects to a prophecy in Zechariah, creating a link between Donald Trump and Persian King Cyrus building the Jewish Temple.
On January 21, a confluence of worlds will take place when a lunar eclipse passes over Washington D.C. on the Jewish holiday of Tu B’Shevat (the 15th day of the Hebrew month Shevat): the arboreal New Year. It is expected that this eclipse will have the proper conditions to create a blood moon in which the moon has a distinctly reddish tint. If so, this blood moon will be a supermoon, which occurs when the moon is at its perigee, the point in its month-long elliptical orbit brings it closest to Earth. At that time, the moon appears up to 14 percent bigger and 30 percent brighter than at its apogee, its furthest point from Earth.
This upcoming blood moon will bring together heaven and earth as the eclipse coincides with the Jewish holiday of Tu B’Shevat (the 15th day of the Hebrew month Shevat), the arboreal New Year and the second anniversary of Donald Trump’s inauguration as President. Lest this be perceived as happenstance, it should be noted that Trump was born on the night of June 14, 1946, within fifteen minutes of a total lunar eclipse and 700 days before the state of Israel was established. Trump’s lucky sevens did not end there. When he was sworn in as President on January 20, 2017, he was 70-years-old, seven months and seven days.
Pastor Mark Biltz, the founder of El Shaddai Ministries, is deeply connected to the Hebrew calendar and authored a bestselling book on the subject. He is also connected to the concept of blood moons and believes they are signposts in the Messianic process as described by the prophet Joel.
Before the great and terrible day of Hashem comes, I will set portents in the sky and on earth: Blood and fire and pillars of smoke; The sun shall turn into darkness And the moon into blood. But everyone who invokes the name of Hashem shall escape; for there shall be a remnant on Mount Zion and in Yerushalayim, as Hashem promised. Anyone who invokes Hashem will be among the survivors. Joel 3:3-5
Noting that a blood moon passed over Jerusalem on Tu B’shevat last year, Pastor Biltz emphasized that this was necessary for the sign to be a complete sign.
“Jewish law requires two witnesses in order for the judgment to be complete,” Pastor Biltz told Breaking Israel News. “As it says in Genesis, the sun and moon are signs of the times, not just that the days, months, and years are passing but they will signal when the times, the era, is changing.”
Hashem said, “Let there be lights in the expanse of the sky to separate day from night; they shall serve as signs for the set times—the days and the years; Genesis 1:14
“Two blood moons, both on the same day of the Hebrew calendar, are witnessing that the judgment has been passed and great things are about to happen,” Pastor Biltz said.
Pastor Biltz sees this blood moon as being especially portentous for the president of the United States regarding his relationship with Israel, as per his understanding of the first chapter in Zechariah.
On the twenty-fourth day of the eleventh month of the second year of Darius—the month of Shevat…In the night, I had a vision. I saw a man, mounted on a bay (red) horse, standing among the myrtles in the Deep…Zechariah 1:7
“This is the second reign of Darius, who we know as the Persian King Cyrus. which takes place in the 70th year of the exile,” Pastor Biltz explained. “The red horse, or the blood moon, will be coming in the same month, the month of Shevat. This will be the second year of Trump’s presidency, just as Zechariah described the second year of the reign of Cyrus as being the time to begin building the Temple.”
Trump has frequently been compared to Persian King Cyrus, a non-Jewish ruler who ended the Babylonian exile and helped the Jews build the Second Temple in 516 BCE.
Normally, lunar eclipses are considered a bad omen for Israel. In its discussion of eclipses, the Talmud (Sukkot 29a) specifically described this to be so since Israel is spiritually represented by the moon. If during the course of the lunar eclipse the moon appears red, as the upcoming eclipse will be, the Talmud states that this is an omen that great wars will come to the world.
At the end of this section describing the omens contained within eclipses, the Talmud states a disclaimer: “When Israel does the will of the place (God), they have nothing to fear from all of this,” citing the Prophet Jeremiah as a source.
Thus said Hashem: Do not learn to go the way of the nations, And do not be dismayed by portents in the sky; Let the nations be dismayed by them! Jeremiah 10:2
Pastor Biltz continued in his interpretation of the prophecy.
Thereupon the angel of Hashem exclaimed, “O lord of Hosts! How long will You withhold pardon from Yerushalayim and the towns of Yehuda, which You placed under a curse seventy years ago?” Zechariah 1:12
“We are now again at the end of the 70 years from Israel blossoming as a fig tree!” Pastor Biltz said. “The prophet declares that it is time to rebuild the Temple but adds a warning.”
Assuredly, thus said Hashem: I graciously return to Yerushalayim. My House shall be built in her—declares the lord of Hosts—the measuring line is being applied to Yerushalayim. Zechariah 1:16
“Jerusalem cannot be divided,” Pastor Biltz warned. “HaShem is saying the nations will not determine the boundaries of Jerusalem. This is for God to do!”

Sanhedrin Invites 70 Nations to Hanukkah Dedication of Altar for the Third Temple
The people that walked in darkness have seen a brilliant light; On those who dwelt in a land of gloom Light has dawned. Isaiah 9:1 (The Israel Bible™)
The nascent Sanhedrin released a declaration to the 70 nations for Hanukkah to be read at a ceremony in Jerusalem on the last day of the holiday. The ceremony will include the consecration of a stone altar prepared for use in the Third Temple. The declaration is intended as an invitation to the nations to participate in the Temple and to receive its blessings.
The altar is currently in the form of loose stone blocks ready to be transported to the Temple Mount and stored in a manner that will enable them to be transported and assembled at a moment’s notice. When complete, the altar will be a square nine feet on each side and five feet tall, and includes a ramp for the priests to ascend. The decision to prepare the blocks and all the details of their composition is the result of a long study performed by the members of the Sanhedrin in conjunction with the Temple Institute. The stones are made of aerated concrete and are fit for use in the Temple. There are plans underway to prepare a new set made of actual stones which are considered the ideal material from which to build the altar.
A full-dress reenactment of the Korban Olah Tamid (the daily offering) will take place. Kohanim (Jewish men of the priestly caste descended from Aaron) wearing Biblically mandated garb will lead the ceremony. The location is still unclear as the Jerusalem municipality is weighing security concerns that a Jewish ceremony of this sort will precipitate Muslim violence if performed in view of the Temple Mount. Also at question is whether the Kohanim will ritually slaughter a lamb or whether prepared meat will be brought. Though the Sanhedrin has received all of the necessary permits from the government organizations in charge of slaughtering animals, they are still waiting for the municipality to approve that part of the ceremony. In either case, the meat will be roasted on the newly consecrated altar.
The priests will also perform the korban mincha in which the grain offerings that accompany the korban tamid are offered along with nesachim, a wine libation.
A large menorah will be lit as part of the ceremony. Rabbi Hillel Weiss explained the significance of the ceremony being held on the last day of Hanukkah.
“According to Jewish tradition, the tabernacle and Aaron the Priest were consecrated for service on the last day of Hanukkah,” Rabbi Weiss explained to Breaking Israel News. “It is fitting that we should invite the nations to the ceremony since Hanukkah is about bringing light to the darkness. The Jews were meant to do this for the entire world,” he said, quoting the Prophet Isaiah.
For He has said: “It is too little that you should be My servant In that I raise up the tribes of Yaakov And restore the survivors of Yisrael: I will also make you a light of nations, That My salvation may reach the ends of the earth.” Isaiah 49:6
“The Jews were brought back to Israel for the purpose of spreading the light to the nations,” Rabbi Weiss said. “As the sages instructed the Jews to pray every day, ‘A new light will shine upon Zion, and we should all merit to this light very soon.’ This light is Torah, the light of Torah which comes from Zion, which reveals the hidden aspects of God.”
The ceremony will also be part of the Sanhedrin’s ongoing effort to establish a Bible-based international organization to replace the United Nations. To this end, they charged Rabbi Yoel Schwartz, president of the Sanhedrin’s Court for the Noahides, with preparing a declaration that would describe the spiritual basis for the organization. Rabbi Schwartz is one of the most respected Torah scholars of this generation, a prolific writer, and winner of the Moskowitz Prize for Zionism.
