I have known my best friend for eight years. I
remember how we first met. I told him that I could not have known
him if I didn’t say, ”Ha! We wear the same shoes!”

We first met each other in 1999. We often studied together
while we were in junior high school. We used to play tricks
on each other, but we never got angry with one another.

Although we don’t study in the same school now, we still
keep in touch by phone. I am concerned about his schoolwork.
His name is Evan. He will always be my best friend.

Everyone needs a friend. To be brief, when you are happy, sad,
successful or disappointed, it’s nice to have a friend who can always share it with you.
