Happy 2007!
USCIS sure did deposit my I- 751 check, however I am still waiting for the replaced green card. Well, it has been 2 and half weeks only and I certainly wish to get my legal updated document as soon as possible. It is not about my being annoyed, I just want this to end beautifully without too much chaos and long wait. Crossing fingers is the thing we could actually do to pray for the short time of receiving new card. Be patient, when it is time and it is the time.
Andrew’s Seattle police department exam is on 03/04.07 which is after 2 months. I do not want to become the wife who repeating same issue all times. The negative side is, he does not seem to prepare it hard enough to persuade me that he will pass the test. I am worried. What should I do to motivate him without being too strict and obvious to point out he is actually not putting sufficient efforts? Sometimes I wonder if I judge Andrew by my own Chinese’s standard just like I complained about his Big American’s value. I 100% believe my husband is completely qualified as being one of the member of Washington law enforcement teams. However, there is nothing real until he gets accepted into the P.D or WSP or Sheriff Deputy. It is extremely competitive, and only the 100% effort can ensure them the opportunity. Am I acting too Chinese to have this belief? I am confused.
I try my best to run for the chance foe self growth and I want my significant other to be on the track so that we will be at the same page. I am not saying I am frustrated, I truly wish Andrew would understand my expectation to move faster for his carrier and life. Human beings get lazy easily if in the same life more than 2 years and that is the reason we have to push ourselves to climb higher. Getting involved into politics is the dogma of governing, and that is also the most important element to achieve personal carrier goals. To be aggressive but careful is the way to reach top, it takes time however it is crucial. I need to encourage my husband because he should not waste his talent and gift at all. He can do better, he sure can.
