Curtis:I don’t quite understand. How come I didn’t
hear you speak a word about the new project with
the client? Have we got the
”go-ahead” or not?
Curtis:我不太懂耶。為什麼我都沒聽到你跟客戶提及任何
關於新案子的事情呢?我們到底拿到這個案子了沒?
Tom:Don’t panic,I think we have.
Tom:別緊張,我想我們已經拿到了。
Curtis:But you didn’t even discuss about when to sign
the contract during the meeting.
Curtis:可是在會議中你們連何時要簽合約都沒討論到。
Tom:Oh,sorry,I should have told you earlier.Normally,
we have a tacit understanding with the client. as long
as they didn’t say ”NO” to our proposal and aks us to go
for a follow-up meeting,it means we’ve got the project.
Tom:喔,不好意思,我應該要早些告訴你的。通常我們跟客戶
有一定默契。只要他們沒有對我們的提案說「不」,然後又要
求我們去參加後續會議的話,就代表我們已經拿到案子了。
Curtis:Oh,I see. NO wonder you were talking all about
when it should start and what needs to be done first
as priority.
Curtis:喔,我懂了。難怪你們一直在討論何時要開始,以及接
下來有哪些事情要優先處理的。
