古早殺牛為了剝取牛皮，被宰殺的牛胃部要先行灌水，灌到整隻牛膨脹再抽水，如此重複三次！現今屠宰場則採用電槍，牛兒倒地尚未全然死亡前即刻電鋸大腿，飽受痛苦的牛寶，有者延至半小時方才全然斷氣！

五福臨門向來是家喻戶曉的詞句。所謂長壽富貴康寧善終，是需要布施行善廣積福田(好德)方能達到！期望師兄姐能夠體恤牛寶活殺苦，幫助園區為更多牛兒贖身，以此善行深植五福之因，並為自身創造共業疫情之外的別業！支持辦法請洽:

【To pray for pandemic: four cows being rescued to our sanctuary】(please share and repost)
【Mother’s Day approaching: please support the rescue of goat mothers and babies on the Sunday as well as that of sea bass and mud crabs】
Cows are gentle and hardworking animals with high level of spirituality that they always dedicate themselves to work and never complain. Even when they are to be brutally slaughtered, they would only wail due to the great fear and pain, but not struggle to break free. There is a proverb in villages which goes as: cows will only expect death but do not know how to escape, while pigs will know how to escape but have no idea about death!
In ancient time, butcher would pump water into the stomach of a cow to be killed, and draw out the water until the whole body of the cow is full of water in order to slaughter and skin the cow. This horrible process would repeat for 3 times! Nowadays, butcher will use electric gun to electrocute the cows. However, many cows will have their legs cut by chainsaw before they pass away. They will only lose their breath for almost half an hour that they have to endure the unimaginable pain and suffer through the whole process until they die!
“Five blessings arrive at the door”is a common saying in our society, of which the blessings include longevity, wealth, health and peacefulness, good virtues and a natural death. To acquire such blessings, one needs to dedicate to giving to the others, doing charities as well as accumulating meritorious virtues! We hope that more of us can show compassion to the cows to be brutally killed and help us to rescue more cows. Upon sowing and cultivating the good seeds of the five blessings, it is to protect ourselves by creating individual karma other than the collective karma of the COVID-19 pandemic!

May those who see and hear of this Bring forth the resolve for Bodhi And when this life is over, Be born together in the Land of Ultimate Bliss.
