＜ＬＡ＞大蒜餐廳

今年要給Andy的生日禮物，我本來想送一個現在很夯的iPhone，但是查了價錢之後還是打了退堂鼓，求其次的請他去看一齣他想了很久的舞台劇－Wicked。喔不過這不是本篇主題...這裡要介紹的其實是看完戲之後去吃飯的餐廳 －The Stinking Rose （註1）....顧名思義，這家店的餐點都充滿了大蒜味，整個菜單上，除了酒精類之外全都有放大蒜。他們的內部裝潢也很有異國風，部分桌椅用紅色帳幕隔開；一串串的大蒜掛著當裝飾，連牆壁上的圖案都有大蒜。



首先上桌的照例是麵包，還點了酒精燈來保溫呢～ 麵包上灑有大蒜屑，味道不會很重但是塗上奶油很好吃。主餐部分，我們點了一湯一牛排來分。湯是Zuppa di Pesce，用料還真不錯：Mussels, crab, fresh fish, calamari & shrimp in a spicy tomato brodetto。牛排是Garlic Roasted Prime Rib，也是滿好吃的。雖然已經很飽，但是我是點了一客期待已久的大蒜冰淇淋。我在多年前嚐過之後一直念念不忘，因為那味道還滿特殊的，香草冰淇淋當中帶了一點大蒜味，兩種味道不衝突，細細品嘗的話還滿有意思的。

我們去看的這部Wicked，算是綠野仙蹤的前傳或是番外篇吧，劇情編得很棒，除了圍繞在兩位女巫Glinda和Elphaba的故事之外，也交代了獅子、稻草人、鐵樵夫是打哪來的。場景佈置和演員對主要角色的詮釋，表演等都是一流...總之，是一部很值得觀賞的好劇。第二張照片其實是在開場前偷拍的...才剛拿出相機按了一下，就馬上有工作人員走過來告誡
