The Edison

在Kabuki吃完飯，取得了壽星的同意之後，我也邀請了 Mr. J 和 S君一起到市中心的 The Edison 幫可愛的安小姐慶祝生日。The Edison 是一間 lounge 可是剛聽到時馬上聯想到的是這裡的電力公司... 雖然座落在一條不起眼的小街巷子裡，但是看門外排隊的人，顯然也算是個滿夯的夜店呢～ 好在壽星已經有訂位，10點之前 guest list 上的人都可以免費進場。裡面真是有夠暗，所以照片多是以很高的 ISO 拍的，雜訊會很多，加減看看囉...這是一進門的景象，那大弔燈為這裡增加不少氣氛。


接著馬上下樓梯，穿過人牆來到角落一個私人包廂。這裡面可以坐的地方滿少的，除了靠牆的沙發，就只有一兩張椅子，中間擺了一個小型的撞球桌，於是大部分人都是站著聊天。


這裡除了Andy和我自己的朋友，我就只認識壽星了...於是我們就自行在整個lounge晃了一圈。其實這裡真的很小，用眼睛就能看遍整個場地，只是目前擠滿了人，然後燈光昏暗，所以很難將一切進收眼底...我認為很有特色的一點是他們用投影機在牆上播放電影～ 而且是非常老的黑白電影，其中一邊是卓別林演的。以前我從來沒有認真看過卓別林的電影，沒想到這天還站著看了好一會，而且還覺得很好笑.....他真是個很有才華的演員。


後來又晃到樓上入口處，那裡還有一間吸煙區，用鐵門和玻璃窗圍起來的一小塊地方。從外面看還真的很像個小牢龍哩  裡面也是擠了很多人，猜猜看還有什麼服務？最裡面靠牆還有人可以提供擦鞋的服務耶！那個人會不會太可憐一點啊...就一直在吸二手煙.....


這裡的主題是LA的古早私人發電廠，一切擺設都很有意思，整體佈置給人感覺很有歷史，好像有點走進時光隧道的錯覺。像是這兩樣擺在吸煙區的東西，不知道是什麼.....上面那個看起來像早期的放映機？另一個我就沒有太研究，煙味太重我匆匆拍了一張就出去了。



從樓梯上往下看，我很喜歡這種弔燈的畫面，沒有足夠的高度還不能掛，唉.....看到這張照片，我一定要提一下關於它的搞笑對話...我拍這張的時候，Andy和兩位朋友在別處，後來我再度和他們會合，S君問....
S君：妳又跑去拍了些啥啊？
Syb：喏....看看這張如何？
S君：*看了一眼*  啊妳為什麼不把垃圾弄掉？
Syb：*一頭霧水*  什麼垃圾？我們在說同一個話題嗎？
S君：看啊，就那些垃圾啊..... *用手指了指相機螢幕*
Syb：*不大確定的語氣*  ㄟ....你是說那些＂人＂嗎？
S君：*驚訝*  嗄！那些是人喔.....我以為那些是地上的垃圾....想說妳拍垃圾做什麼.....
Syb：．．．．．．
我想...可能是相機螢幕不夠大，所以S君沒看清楚....可是....也太誇張了吧！


這大概是這天照得我最喜歡的一張了～ 有沒有歌劇魅影的感覺呀^^ 當然歌劇魅影不是用這種燈泡啦，可是這種樣式的登台配上紅布簾，還真有點氣氛耶～ 這裡面好像所有的燈，不論大小，都是用這種燈心，不禁讓我好奇整晚下來，耗掉的電是不是很可觀啊？


在我們離去前剛好看到一輛凱迪拉克加長型豪華轎車停下來...不知道是何方神聖，來這裡還有這麼大陣仗呢


The Edison 網站做得也滿有味道的，非常搭配他們店的主題，整個用Flash做成，還有模仿放印機投影在牆上，我個人覺得設計人的 idea 很棒
