A Journey to Russia -1

Russia is a unique country. In the last century alone it has survived two world world wars,the communist revolution,and the introduction of captialism. Moscow, the capital of Russia, with the population of over 10 million, is the heart and soul of this dynamic history.
The result of these history can be seen in the architecture on the street of the city. Ancient monassteries sit among modern skyscrapers. .
The young and hip in the lastest western fashion live together in the same city with old hard-line Communists
The most famous architecture from old Russia can be found in Red Square. Saint Basil’s Cathedral is the most beautiful church building I have even seen in my life.
Next to the church is Lenin’s Mausolem, where the body of the founder of Soviet Union is on display. But the day we went there, it is closed to the public.
