Business Communications 是現在在正在修的一科....
好煩..很多事要做............
更由於是Communications 的課....教授要求交出去給他的東西要0錯誤....
不能文法有錯就算了..不能有拚字錯誤....連多空一格或標點符號都不能錯...
如果有任何錯..就算是一個要拿顯微鏡才看的到的錯她都不容許....
因為...她說......這一科就是在講在商業上的一些溝通技巧....
如果錯了....今天不是講給她或寫給她的報告.....那就表示你是講出去了交出去了客人手上....那能有錯嗎?????
客人或老闆會容許你犯的錯嗎?????
很有道理.
.但是超級機車......連你寫出去的每篇文章裡的每個單字她都要計較你用的好不好?? 有沒有更好的字..就連句子的結構文法就算沒錯....都也會被改或有意見什麼的...........
首先...第一個禮拜去上課時.....她就先撂下剛上面那一段....
但她也不是這麼的不近人情...每2週是一個週期......
也就是..單數週她交代下來的功課寫好之後..可以先寄給她看....
她會把她的意見還有你錯的地方指正出來後回寄給你...
然後.......雙週的話再寄回去.....但再寄回去這個就是打分數的了...是一個錯都不能夠有的..
還有錯的話分數就沒了.....
然後...再來是還有一個團體報告....要在第7個禮拜上課的時候上台報告...
這也就算了..重點...是書面的團體報告必需要在第6個禮拜交給她打分數--一樣....要完全不能有錯...有錯直接全沒分了...
這都還算了.........最大的重點是....如果.....如果...你們的組要在交給她打分數之前..希望能讓她有機會給意見的話....
必需要在第四個禮拜上課之前將組報告交給她...超過第4個禮拜她就不收了..也不會給意見了..
也就是說...我們從第1個禮拜第1次上課......當天才分組..大家決定好題目之後......
只剩下3個禮拜...........
她"很好心的..." 前3個雙週都不用上課....也就是第2.4.6 週是我們的組會面時間........
那...等到分好組..決定好題目......, 第1週大家決定回去先就我們的題目分頭找資料.....
第2週上課時間我們再來會面要討論怎麼做這個報告....
所以...第一週上課完之後........許小婷整個禮拜都在花時間找資料....
還有..外加自己個人的作業.....
- Letter requesting information for your upcoming sales meeting
- Memo detailing the guidelines for purchasing office supplies
- E-mail to your supervisor requesting vacation time
個人作業的部份....是要寫3份正式文件.....
第一個是寫給旅館或什麼之類的地方向他們詢問如果你們公司要去那裡開會..什麼的相關事宜.....
第二個是一個內部文件...是要申明公司的文具用品規定...
第三個是..要寫一個信給主管你要請假...........
這個..我全沒有寫過英文版的...所以照著課本說的格式還有自己找了很多資料去美化假裝很有禮還進退得宜了....
沒想到........教授裡的回文裡一堆意見...................
但還好........至少照著她的意見去改就好了...所以......第二個禮拜比較輕鬆,,,,
個人作業部份等於有點像訂正就好了....
但....組會面時......決定了大家各自負責的部份.......
所以.......這第二個禮拜也很忙...因為要開始忙組的東西.....
到了第三個禮拜......要去上課也就算了.......
個人作業又是新的東西了........
這次寫的更讓我焦躁了.....
Write a memo to persuade your employer to grant you time off for volunteer work. Complete your resume using a specific job description to tailor the content. Write a cover letter to accompany your resume.第二個跟第三個是個人的履歷表跟自傳也就算了...
還要自己去找自己真的想應徵的職位..假裝你是真的要應徵這個職位...
但對我而言最難的反而是第一個......
要寫一個信給主管..說服他你想要去利用上班時間去參加志工活動.....
喔......我要去做志工..但要付我錢去喔..~~~
~~~~ 有點尷尬吧...~~~
但..憑著多年客服很會唬爛的經驗....
許小婷還硬是寫出了一份自己看起來都得意洋洋的代表座.......
想說...她沒什麼好改了吧..............
但履歷表跟自傳部份反而我有預期又會被她訂正很多....
沒想到......連我沾沾自喜的信都被給了很多意見......
履歷表跟自傳..太尷尬了不方便貼上來....
但我一定要來抱怨一下我覺得寫的進退得宜的勸服主管的信是怎樣......
( 重點給我們的是要勸服主管讓我們去做志工..其他細節故事隨我們自己猜編...)

Caring for the global environment and maintaining a good relationship with the community is always a part of our company’s ethics and compliance. Now, there is a campaign named “No Trash on the Street” that is held by the Environmental Health Department of New Hampshire. They are looking for help.
The Environmental Health Department of New Hampshire is looking for any companies’ support to join this action. Each company could assign any number of employees to join this “No Trash on the Street” campaign. The people who attend this campaign would have to clean streets every Monday from 1PM to 5PM till the end of October, 2011. The purpose of this campaign is to maintain the environment of our community and to promote the importance of being green to the residents.
Therefore, this is a meaningful and worthy activity for our society. Our company’s involvement would help to build a reputation and gives people a positive impression of our company. Hence, I would like to join this campaign with your permission. Your approval is needed before September 22 in order for me to enroll in this campaign with the Environmental Health Department of New Hampshire.

沒想到她還是有很多意見......
所以..後來在她的訂正及意見之下改成這個版本啦......

好啦,,,我得承認被改過的版本更專業....
但...我寫的時候還真的是己經盡力啦..... 
但這還只是個人的部份......
團體報告那裡.. 大家希望能在第三週趕出來...
所以才會有時間把大家的組合在一起..然後因為是不同人寫的..
還要想看要怎麼把不同人寫的拚在一起...
還有做封面...cover leter ... executive summary 跟結論什麼的......
所以..這第3個禮拜真的是不知道在瞎忙什麼的過去了......
到了第四個禮拜...我們的組會面是把大家的東西排在一起....
然後又討論要怎麼結尾什麼之類的....
個人部份是只要把教授指教部份的信還有履歷表跟自傳寄回去就好了.....
好不容易......總算趕出來了....
但...週末才閒沒有2天.....她馬上把組的報告的意見回回來了...
又是滿滿的一堆紅字外加意見..............
我現在..............又去找了幾百個統計數字來加進去...
因為她最多的意見就是我們做的資料搜集不夠..........
好希望時間快飛走...........好想快點結束這科喔....
~~~然後去吃龍肉大餐~~~~~
