In the forest, I walked so gently
Afraid of arousing your shadow,
And he would dance
With the steps that I couldn’t follow;
Like a butterfly in the sky
So I walked so gently into my fate.
Sunset dyed the mountains’ hair red
Throbbing the earth, touching me faint
As if some maple leaves accidentally fell and covered her head.
Oh, such a beauty, such a pain.
Should I fall in like them, or stand aside wandering nowhere?
Close to your breath, followed your step
I came across to the universe, seeing narcissuses
Besides the milk way.
You picked up one of them smiled and said,
“It is a souvenir for our encounter in fate,
Please keep it till the day ends.
Maybe someday we’ll celebrate
Because our love is not in the grave.”
I walk so gently in my fate,
Still wishing to meet you on my way.
