Just came in NL for a few days, Jeans and Kylie also arrived. The first night, Dicky drove us to a NL restaurant to have some food. Jeans ordered the Heineken, but they don't have it... So we ordered the home-made beers. And we ordered some beefs with peanut jams. Tastes wiered.. However, this is the first time I can feel the crowd in NL. I do enjoy that. When being alone outside, I do need some friends together.
And then in the first week, Jeans got a car from Adm. It's Opel-Astro. We are very excited then start going to Heidelberg. The famous and beautiful College town. On the Germany highway, we first time drive over 180 KM/Hour. Wow wow!! I can't wait to take my turn from Jeans, then immediately push the 油門 to the bottum. So so exciting~ That's driving. But now I know my most satisfied speed is 160 KM/ Hour. After coming back to Taiwan, friends said my driving is different - no hasitate to speed up. That's imaginable. I still remember when we were on the way back to NL, we got traffic jam in Frankfort, and when I looked down and I found the dash board still shows 120KM/ Hour. It's really funny.
When we arrived, it's still early. We went into a restaurant to order some breakfast. Gash they don't know English and we can't understand whatever on the menu. Finally we order the same as next table. Even the waitress feels we are funny. OK then, we start to visit the place now
First time in Heidelberg, everything is so beautiful, organized and clean. I was the one who rarely take photos but can't help to take near one roll. When I came again the next time, I almost took none. Hehe.. Jeans tooks many photos too. And he likes to be the background in other's photos. Very interesting.
In Europe, colleagues say that you'll feel all the same, city for church, county for castle. That's kind of joking. However, no one can resist the beauty of Europe's living environment. Another Peter (Black peter) is the 2nd time to urope. He quickly checked the scenes on the postcards, then lead us there to see and take photos. Smart idea! I also saw the McDonould in Heidelberg. It looks classical and graceful. But I don't remember if we went to order something there. However, we now know that Mc is one of the cheapeat place for breakfast and you won't order the wrong thing. Especially when your hotel didn't provide it. And Beer and coffee are the good choices than coke in Europe when you sit down in the cafe.
Since the first weekend, to write down my Europe traveling and mail to Taiwan's friends become my interesting job on each Monday. Gary, Natalia and Luca are so jealousy (although they went to more places than me after some years). Later on, I'll keep travel 天鵝堡, Paris, etc
