你希望一輩子都活在聚光燈底下嗎？你希望一輩子都能得到別人的掌聲嗎？你認為站在聚光燈底下，會讓你的人生更美好嗎？如果是，那麼恭喜你，就盡情的享受打在你身上的聚光燈吧！但我的答案不是！我一直認為，一個真正自信的人，是不需要努力得到別人的認同；是不需要一輩子都成為別人的焦點的。一個真正自信的人，他可以肯定自己，愛自己，認同自己。即使這個世上沒有人稱讚他。當然，這並不容易，我也正在努力當中。我不需要聚光燈，我不需要別人的掌聲。與其為我歡欣鼓舞，不如默默的在背後支持我，看著我逐漸進步。這是我要追尋的自信！我希望，有一天，就算失去別人的讚美，我一樣每天過得滿足而快樂！所以，我不要聚光燈，因為，『我要成為那道光芒！』即使只是燃燒著去照亮別人，我也願意！
ps.很抱歉這次作品中的男人，是我模仿電影原聲帶"Shine"的封面而畫的。因為我需要一個model做那樣的動作給我看，否則我實在很難靠想像畫出來。我向來不抄襲模仿，所以這次有點慚愧，同時也要加以說明。沒辦法啊，昨晚我在人群中觀察許久，但是我發現，並不會有人在大街上做這樣的動作。所以我放棄了......因為我實在沒勇氣去請一個陌生男人在街上做這動作給我看，他大概會以為我瘋了吧^_^

Enjoy the spotlight on you. But my answer is "No!" I have my self-esteem, and I want to build "my" confidence. Feeling satisfied and happy everyday without applause and spotlight is real confidence. I don't need your applause. Just see me perform on my stage. Remember....keep silent and "feel" me.That's what I want. I am the special one in this world. I am ..Nico. I don't need the spotlight, because I want to be "the light" itself!
ps. I have never imitated before. I am so sorry....The man in this painting was from the CD cover of "Shine". Because I really need someone to do that kind of action for me. But I spent a lot of time observing people on the street yesterday. Finally....I found that no one did this action on the street. And I did't have courage to ask for somebody doing this action for me. He must think I am mad. So...I gave up finally. I hope this is my last time to "imitate" from others'.
