今天接到遠從越南的來電,

小粘說John passed away.

我也不知道我的心情到底震不震驚。

我只知道,在異鄉的那幾的月,因為有John的kindness

我才能順利的在那邊過活,要是沒有他每週帶我下山採買,

恐怕我會很難度過那幾個禮拜。

而且他總是很親切的來主動跟我打招呼說話,而這正是

一個異鄉人最需要的被對待方式。謝謝你,John

希望你在天國能夠安詳。



For my dear "old" friend, John,

Without your company and kindness, my camp life would be

boring, sucked, and inconvinient.  I remember we walk throug on

the path to your cabin in the Saturday afternoon.  You taught

me how to use the rifle gun to shoot and this experience was so good.

I cannot forget after we shop from Walmart, then you told all other

staff that Gina spent 10000 dollars at Walmart. Some of the staff came

to ask me if I were crazy or not for your joking. Thank you for sharing with

me about your thought, your opinion and your experience for Scout.

The most important thing is that thank you for letting me be your friend.

Rest in peace my friend, John.
