 Duck  with risotto is tasty and beautifully seasoned and prepared.

 The ambiance and service was fully satisfying.
 The food was tasty and well prepared. 

dinner menu is accompanied by a daily-changing fresh sheet
 so they were using the fall veggies as they arrive from local purveyors.


The food was really comfortable - not fancy, or frilly. Good size, flavour pairings & quality.

If you're tired of the usual chain restaurants on Vancouver's west side
 and feel like a really nice meal in pleasant
 cozy surroundings where you can actually
have a conversation without shouting,
 this is it. Food never disappoints,
 the wine selection is good, and the service friendly but unobtrusive.

Highly recommended for anyone who is looking for a good French bistro
 at decent prices without being overly pretentious.
