 Cumpari's Gelto&Coffee

Cumpari is a beautiful, bustling cafe and dessert destination

 in Coquitlam.

 They have an assortment of gelatos, cakes,

 pastries, and beverages available.

The service is okay.

The price is pretty standard to other desert places

(although I find it a bit lower).

And the ambiance is decent.

The high ceiling doesn't help with the echo so the place gets noisy

 if it's a full house.

The patio is open for the summer time which is great for extra seating.

However, once this place fill up,

you might not be able to find a seat for a while.

The service is what it is; counter service.

Everyone is friendly and efficient and

they don't mind waiting for you to decide between the various options.

 And even though this place tends to be very busy,

 it is also kept very clean.

 The atmosphere is good and is definitely geared towards either

 a fun evening out with friends or a nice après movie stop.

 Their prices are a bit high and to be honest I can understand why.

This area has a lot of students who like to order the cheapest

items and then take up a table for hours to use wifi.

 High prices tend to deter this.

Great to chat with good friend at Cafe shop in a nice afternoon!

I get super excited but at the same time the decision making

 process can cause a headache. It takes me forever to choose

what I want since everything looks soo good! I'm a person that

 likes her deserts light and less sweet so it's a constant battle

 within myself to order something I will enjoy and finish (fruit tart),

 or something that will hit the spot but will probably end up in

 the trash because it was too sweet

 (raspberry mousse cake...never again).

Overall, Cumpari's is a great place for dessert in the Lougheed/North Road area. They're open late which is good for you night owls.

PS- with any desert places, you have to be careful of what you order.

 Sometimes you're lucky and other times not so much.
