G-Be Lzakaya Japanese Restaurant

Izakaya located in Burnaby next to the Grand Villa Casino catering

to the hotel above,

 the casino patrons and businesses in the area.

Part of the "Gyoza King" Group,

this restaurant aims to create unique new foods that cannot

be found anywhere else.
 

Japanese hot pot ~all you caneat for $13.99 each..

 We arrived at about 7pm and there was only 2-3 tables there.

 We were greeted promptly by the waitress and was shown to

our table right away and was reminded that they are

serving all you can eat hotpot only.

 

  The ambience was great, the decor was very trendy and chic.

They have a basic menu, $13.95 per person,

and you can add a "deluxe" menu for $7.95 per person.

Soup base is $8.50 or you can get a split pot (2 soup base) for $9.50. .

First they brought the soup base and

 I took a look at it and said to my friends: the soup looks really yummy.

 I did take a sip and it was REALLY good.

Then our order gradually arrived, it did not take long at all.

 

Everything looked fresh and delicious,

even the sushi and the sashimi and all the other cooked food,

and they tasted even better.

The hotpot meats and veggies also came and those don't look too bad either.

The meat was well prepared,

 not still frozen like some other places I've been to.

 

love their soup so much!

 Everything uncooked had a bed of ice at the bottom to keep them fresh,

well thought out.

 Around 8pm the restaurant was almost full, maybe 1-2 tables empty.

They were only 3-4 Japanese waiter/waitresses working the floor

 but they were very prompt and attentive.

 Ambience: The restaurant itself is pleasantly appointed.

G-Be Lzakaya Japanese Restaurant

All in all it was a great experience and my friends thought so too.

 I will definitely go back again to try some of their other stuff.

The total worked out to be about the same as

Top Gun but I think we got a much better deal out of G-Be.
