I love everything about this place - the vibe, the look,

 the FROZEN YOGURT~!

 

Menchie's Forzen Yogurt

 They’ve got a rotating selection of eclectic

frozen yogurt flavors and every topping .

You get to choose from innovative flavours such as red velvet,

 peanut butter, cake batter, chocolate covered banana...

 

They also have an array of toppings to choose from,

and you are never limited to the number of toppings you desire .

 

From fresh, locally grown fruits to classic rainbow sprinkles and hot fudge,

even they can't decide what to mix up first.

But that’s the best part.  you decided!
 
Mix up as many flavors and toppings as your little heart desires.

At Menchie’s, you pay by weight not by topping so

 you can have as much or as little of everything you want.  

I love Menchie's self-serve model

 (you get to decide how much you want to eat,

and the amount charged is based on weight). 

 This is great, b/c the standard small/medium/

large sizes don't fit every person's appetite-

some will want to eat more or less

 

 

They also love this place b/c it's brightly decorated with posters

 of famous stars (and teen stars)- think- Selena Gomez,

Justin Bieber, Britney, Jennifer Garner & the likes.

 

Also amazing is the free tasting that accompanies the experience.

 I love the self-serve tasting- Menchies leaves out little tasting cups,

and you can go around and try as many flavours as you want.

Most importantly, no one hovers around you as you do this

& you are free to try as much as you want - you don't even have to buy

 (it's an honour system), but really who would be able to resist?

 

To top it off, if you're health conscious,

you'll appreciate the little signs that designate certain frozen

yogurts as 'fat-free', 'no sugar added', 'kosher', etc.

I love frogurt, especially when I could put some of toppings on.

 However the frozen yogurt doesnt have much taste after

you put the toppings on, the flavors are lost and tastes like nothing.

I have been to many of these self-serve places

 where there was more/better selection of toppings.

I like this place still cause its open late, 11pm!! 

I'm not sure its cause its late or they never

have any fresh fruits to choose from. None.

The waffle cup is fresh and crunchy ($1 extra)

 

I had fun making it, and would keep coming back until i get it right.

On my visit to Menchie's I noted a lot of teenagers & parents

with young children. 

 The good thing about Menchies is that it's normally open pretty

 late hours on a weekday,

so it provides a great hangout alternative for teens not yet old

enough to hit up the local pubs.
