It's a great spot to take family of all ages as there is always

something on the menu for everyone.

Menu options were good - we had a delicious sharing starter

of tuna tataki and dinner testing for $35 per person.

 

The wine list is decent and they have a good selection of mixed drinks.

Over the years we have found the portion sizes have gotten smaller,

 but the quality is always consistant.

The prices here are reasonable, the service was of the usual friendly Canadian standard,

and the decor and atmosphere were really nice.

Staff - well trained & knowledgeable about their menu ~

Tuna tataki $14 – locally caught oceanwise seared albacore tuna,

green papaya slaw, orange, avocado, pine nuts, yuzu vinaigrette.

The tuna was seared to perfection the orange dressing was a good compliment.

our main course chicken~thr chicken is so tender and juice.

 Recommended for casual mid-range dining.

We later found out the Chef who owns it is a former winner of Iron Chef USA ~

Cactus Club does an excellent job of ticking a lot of boxes for me: Ambience - trendy,

happening Food - great selection & taste Staff - well trained & knowledgeable about their menu!
