Pearl Drops is a bubble tea house on Willingdon in Burnaby.
A new level of bubble tea!

 

They make great fruit slushies and cold fruit tea drinks here, at around $4-$5 a drink. They use all fresh fruit ,and freshly made jellies to put in your drink for $0.5-$1 more.

They have some outstanding premium drinks as well for $6-$7 that I get if I feel like spending a little more.

This is without a doubt the greatest tea restaurant/cafe I have ever been to! What appears to be an ordinary bubble tea place is actually quite the little gem of the neighborhood.

They recently renovated their place and introduced a new food menu. Let make take the opportunity to be the first to critque their food for everyone still waiting. It is like upscale, high-end quality but in a smaller environment and at a much more resonable price too.

The chef/owner/barista packs a lot of punch into his dishes (not surprising considering the level of sophistication of his tea drinks).

They have a huge selection of teas, but I have to admit the menu could be better organized. In its present form it is confusing, and there is no need for that.. This place is a truly great BBT emporium, and is almost the equal of Dragon Ball. It beats them in ambience by miles, but the tea at DB is one grade better.

The place has a chic ambience with cool décor and soothing techno music playing in the background.

 The handsome server is very  friendly .

we just never seen a BBT place operated by "non-asians". So we went in, this time they had more tables and chairs. the drinks were good.  

I havn't try their cakes yet,but they look good.

 

This is my first visit of Pearl Drops, but I just had to say that their Matcha (Green Tea) milk shake is amazing - just the right amount of sweet, creamy, and green-tea intenseness.

I am always pleased with the creative drinks they come out with.
Pearl Drops offers consistency in product quality, service, ambiance and cleanliness.
The matcha milk shake with pearls is something that I will return for!
Highly recommended!
