X-Site is not a place for the food snob. Such restaurants has a place in the community.

It is more than a decent place. As a matter of fact, I find X-Site pretty good.

They had managed to keep their prices so low after all these years.

This really is an enormous amount of food.

They could easily get away with a smaller portion at a higher price.

 The sheer volume blows away all competitors and the fresh, quality ingredients make it stand out as one of best in the area.

The Caesar Salad is crisp, lathered in a very garlicky dressing.

The red-skinned potatoes are tender and nicely seasoned.

The pita crunchy and soft inside. House-made tzatziki,  lemony with cucumber and lots of garlic

(an extra portion is always free).

The rice, however, is a bit ordinary but really nothing to complain about.

The topper is the large, juicy skewer of perfectly cooked chicken.

A phenomenal plate of food at a phenomenal price.

If you ever find yourself cruising along Hastings in North Burnaby with a few toonies and a big appetite, X-Site is definitely one of your best choices. 

Ambiance is a bit on the dim side. It does have a pub feel and there were quite a few tables with their pitcher special and people sitting in the bar section watching some game that was going on.

 Look at the interior above. You would not have guessed that they serve $5.95 Dinner Specials here. Where else could you get a $5.95 with choices like Top Sirloin Steak, Gourmet Burger, Chicken Souvlaki or Grilled Salmon?

It is amazing to think how they can even make money at all.

But they had been doing this for many years already and that is why this place is so close to the hearts of many people.

The dining area is large and spacious.

They have dinner specials Mondays to Thursdays and lunch specials as well from Mondays to Saturdays.

Food quality is consistent. Large quantity for the price you pay for compared to other places. Everything else was good.

Chicken souvlaki $ 4.95~What a great deal!!with the purchase of 1 beverage per each item ordered. 

My Fettuccini Alfredo$4.95~ I coundn't finish by myself even it was so yammy. 

Mega dortion-mini price.The server was nice and was very speedy.Will go back to try their other dinner or lunch specials.
