Cafe Gloucester is a typical Hong Kong-style cafe located on South Cambie. 

I love these cafes when I’m craving a creamy, sugary drink and white carbs! 

We were lucky to be seated pretty quickly because Cafe Gloucester is pretty popular and is usually quite packed. 

If you can’t make it to Richmond, and are in the Cambie area, then sure check it out. But don’t bother going out of your way to try Cafe Gloucester.

 

Gloucester used to be hopping, especially among younger local Chinese, with lines out the door until 10 at night.

The service was good and the food was up to standard. It's good to learn that it has been around for ages. That certainly means it is doing something right. :)
