"My Happy Ending" is the most well known song on Avril Lavigne's sophomore album Under My Skin and also the fourth most successful single in her career. The song almost failed to make the cut, before legendary drummer Kenny Aronoff stepped in and gave the folky demo a hard-rocking drum sound.
An acoustic version of the song is still very likeable though. Check out her live performance of "My Happy Ending" on AOL Sessions way back in 2004, when she still sang in a rustic voice, got Evan Taubenfeld on her side, and wore that pretty red eyeshadow in the Under My Skin era.
