Just completed the interview. Below are my comments:
Mr T-我
- an experienced HR generalist in traditional HR functions, experience in relatively simple operations
- a doer rather than strategic thinker
- appears keen to the job with passion & very positive (from the conversation, he does not appear very dull and passive)
- get used to long working hours and under pressure
- good customer-oriented approach but not good at influencing skills
- sufficient English communication skills
- immediate
- experience in simple recruitment activities and some training coordination work in local companies only
- lack of all-round HR knowledge and skill as well as exposure in complex setup and issues
- poor English comprehension and conversation skills although she tried very hard to present herself
- open and outspoken
In terms of required skills and knowledge to handle the HR operation in TW, Ms A is too green and not capable. Mr Tsou should be able to pick up the role. In long run, he has to step up more as a country HR head. If no more alternative candidate is available and given we expect a operational candidate to pick up TW HR function, I am ok with Mr T. Cheers!
