He withdrew from NUS. For the past one year, he was not happy about the research he was doing for his PHD. Last Thursday he talked to me about it. I encouraged him to withdraw and pursue what he really wants. Yesterday was the last day for withdrawl and he did it.

I asked him how he felt after withdrawing yesterday. He said" We need changes in our life. " I know he is quite happy now compared to before he was worried and depressed. I do believe that he made a right choice though it’s just the beginning of another uneasy life.

But not everyone has the courage to make such a change.
